I've spent some time reading a lot of creepypasta stories. And yeah they definitely live up to their name. I've felt uneasy many times reading them, but something compels me to read them. I'm not sure what it is to be honest. I just feel like I need to read more of them.
Creepypasta are stories written to scare or disturb/unnerve the reader. They generally achieve this through the use of psychology, though some are quite graphically violent. If you like a good scare, even just a little, I recommend them.
Some creepypastas I read include the following:
BEN-A gamer is tormented by a malicious spirit inside a game cartridge
Dead Pokemon-A gamer turns on his game to discover something horrific
Delete-A boy notices that people are mysteriously vanishing
DON'T LOOK AT ME-A person is shocked by a gruesome version of Annoying Orange
Mutant Future-A creepypasta with a shocking ending
CatDog Lost Episode-A terrible episode in which Cat and Dog are slaughtered
CrazySpore.exe-A Spore beta does more than just play a game
Sonic.exe-A young gamer is warned about a demonic Sonic game, but pays no attention
Spyro 2-A young gamer finds that game characters are more aware than you might think
The Lion King Sega Game Creepypasta-A fan of The Lion King sega game gets more than they bargained for when they play a twisted version of the game
